ABOUT MESA
MESA is the Mechanical Engineering Students Association of B.C.Y.R.C.'s Umrer College of Engineering,Umrer, whose aims to play a pivotal role in the development of students as engineers by various out-of-curriculum and extra-curricular activities. It has been established in the year 2008.
MESA aims to inculcate among its members an awareness and appreciation of the various disciplines of not just Mechanical Engineering but also other relevant fields. By way of its activities
MESA aims to be a platform for all the students of Umrer College of Engineering, Umrer in general and particularly of the students of Mechanical Engineering Department.

MESA seeks to be an active organization of the Mechanical Engineering department at Umrer College of Engineering which promotes their career interests.
OUR VISION
To Encourage Scientific Spirit By Spreading Scientific Knowledge
1) To focus on the cutting edge technology and present it to the students in an interesting manner by means of lectures/talk, articles and workshops.
2) To bridge the gap between theoretical and practical/field knowledge.
3) Promoting the interests of students in various technical areas pertaining to mechanical engineering
4) Giving relevant information to students to sustain their interest in their field-specific applications of ME.
5) Providing students of the department with relevant knowledge of other fields, given the inter-disciplinary nature of ME.
6) Interacting with other technical societies, within and outside the institute to promote flow of knowledge and interest.
7) Providing a platform for interaction between faculty and the students and especially the seniors and the juniors of the department.
8) To promote the interaction between academia and industry.
9) To encourage novel ideas by means of special projects.
